Nepal Medical Council (NMC) has released its examination calendar for 2083 B.S., confirming the Second Session of the Undergraduate Level Doctor Registration Certificate Examination (Licensing Examination / NMCLE) for the current year.

Exam Details

• Session: Second Session, 2083
• Exam Dates: 2083 Ashoj 4, 5, and 6 (Sunday–Tuesday, September 20–22, 2026)
• Exam Type: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Total Marks: 180 | Pass Marks: 90 | Duration: 3 hours
• Venue: Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk, Lalitpur (confirmed on admit card)

Eligibility

• Must have completed MBBS from an NMC-recognized medical college
• Must have completed 6-month rotatory internship at an NMC-recognized centre
• Candidates who completed undergraduate/postgraduate medical programs outside Nepal after September 2020 must submit an official equivalence certificate of their academic qualification at the time of application (per NMC full board decision dated 2082/11/28), along with official Department of Immigration travel records covering the study period abroad (excluding India travel).
