AFU Integrated Entrance Exam 2083/084 — B.Sc. Ag / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. Fisheries / B.Sc. Forestry
Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), Rampur, Chitwan has opened online applications for its Integrated Entrance Examination for undergraduate admission into B.Sc. Ag, B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. Fisheries, and B.Sc. Forestry programs for academic session 2083/084. Applications open 2083 Shrawan 21 and close 2083 Bhadra 17.
Agriculture and Forestry University has published its notice for the single, unified online application form and entrance examination covering all constituent and affiliated colleges under the Faculty of Agriculture (Rampur), the Faculty of Animal Science, Veterinary Science and Fisheries (Rampur), and the Faculty of Forestry (Hetauda). Admission to all programs will be made purely on the basis of merit from this one entrance exam.

Key Dates
- Online Application Window: 2083 Shrawan 21 (Thursday) to 2083 Bhadra 17 (Wednesday), until 12:00 midnight — online only
- Admit Card Download: From 2083 Bhadra 19 (Friday), 9:00 AM, via the Admit Card menu on the Online Application Portal (color print required)
- Entrance Exam Date: 2083 Bhadra 20 (Saturday), 9:00 AM
- Result Publication: 2083 Bhadra 20 (Saturday), on the university website
- Student Admission: 2083 Bhadra 24 (Wednesday) through end of Bhadra
Exam Centers
Rampur (Chitwan), Hetauda (Makwanpur), Kathmandu, Janakpur (Dhanusha), Itahari (Sunsari), and Nepalgunj (Banke). Once selected, the exam center cannot be changed. Center-wise seating details will be published separately.
Eligibility
- SEE/SLC or equivalent passed
- 10+2 Science, or 10+2 in Agriculture/Veterinary/Animal Science/Forestry, I.Sc., or Diploma (Agriculture/Veterinary/Animal Science/Forestry/Health Science), A-Level, or equivalent, with:
- Minimum aggregate of 40% (CGPA 2.00), and
- At least 100 full marks each in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a combined minimum of C grade in subjects that include Theory/Practical components
- Note (B.V.Sc. & A.H. only): Minimum C+ (2.40 CGPA) or 50% aggregate required in the 10+2-level qualification above.
Application Fee
NPR 3,000 (three thousand only), payable via e-payment while filling the online form.

Documents Required (to be scanned and uploaded)
- Recent passport-size photo and applicant's signature
- Nepali citizenship certificate (or national ID/birth registration certificate for citizens without a citizenship certificate)
- SEE/SLC or equivalent grade sheet and certificate
- 10+2 level (or equivalent) transcript, grade sheet, and certificate
- Equivalency certificate (only for qualifications obtained from foreign educational institutions)
- Relevant quota certificate or recommendation letter, if applying under a reserved quota
Applicants must bring the original admit card along with original citizenship certificate/national ID/driving license/passport to the exam hall.
Exam Pattern
120 multiple-choice objective questions drawn from the Certificate Level/10+2 (or equivalent) syllabus, to be completed in 1 hour 30 minutes:

- General Knowledge — 8
Merit & Tie-Breaking
The merit list is prepared using the entrance exam score (out of 100). In case of a tie, ranking is determined successively by: I.Sc./10+2 aggregate (CGPA) → SEE/SLC aggregate percentage/grade → I.Sc./10+2 marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English (in that order).

Figures above are a condensed summary; the full breakdown (including women, Adibasi/Janajati, Madhesi, Dalit, disabled, conflict-affected family, martyr family, and staff quotas) is available in the official notice. Seats for affiliated colleges under the Faculty of Agriculture (Khajura, Banke, and Madichaur, Rolpa) are set at 49 each. Affiliated private colleges' seat numbers will be announced in a separate notice.
Important Notes
- Programs run per AFU's academic calendar: 5 years for B.V.Sc. & A.H.; 4 years for B.Sc. Ag., B.Sc. Forestry, and B.Sc. Fisheries
- B.V.Sc. & A.H. admissions follow the MoU with the Department of Livestock Services, Government of Nepal; applicants are admitted by merit rank, and any unfilled seats in this or other quotas will be absorbed into the UDF quota
- Nominees arriving through MoUs with the Government of Nepal, Nepal Agricultural Research Council, or other bodies for B.Sc. Ag. or B.Sc. Fisheries are admitted outside the quota table above
- Nominees from the Government of Nepal for Forestry programs are admitted per the relevant MoU
- Reserved-quota applicants (except the women's quota) must submit the relevant certificate/recommendation letter at the time of online application; claims made afterward will not be considered
- If a college fills less than 50% of its allotted seats, the affected students may be transferred to other affiliated colleges based on faculty-determined merit
